They make a diagnosis and take care of people with illnesses of the hair and nails and manage aesthetic cosmetic problems. These are a few medications used in the treatment: accutane, bacteban, benzoyl peroxide, cleocint, clobetasol, elidel, emollients, hydrocortisone, lotrisone, metragel, nizoral and sunscreen.

Our skin is the principal and the largest organ of the body. Many skin diseases are secluded and some are materialization of inner infection.

Should any mold of asymmetrical shape and shade should observed by a dermatologist to decide if it could be the beginning of malignant cancer. A visual exam with a dermatoscropic instrument will illuminate the area without light and if suspicious a biopsy may be recommended. A mole that is malignant in nature may be removed in the doctor’s office and then sent to a laboratory for analysis of the excised and then returned with the evaluation and a diagnosis will be made.

Melanoma is the most severe, significant, critical and life-threatening variety of skin cancer.

Other dermatologic procedures involve laser surgery, scalpel surgery, electro surgery, cryosurgery, photodynamic therapy, liposuction, mini non-invasive facelifts, and an assortment of topical and dermafill injections, botox and hyaluronic acids.
